| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad VO-1000 9379 at Clyde, Illinois on February 19, 1966, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built by Baldwin in December 1944 (c/n 71978) as part of 30 VO-1000's allotted to the CB&Q by the War Production Board, it was traded to GE in March 1967. It was sold by GE to the Atlantic Coast Line (later, Seaboard Coast Line) where it worked in CB&Q paint and number until retired sometime during 1977-78. |
