Yellowbonnet And Cascade Green
Post-merger the BNSF was a colorful railroad. With vistas such as these common. Today, thirteen years afterward, they still can be found. Here a pair of veteran 40-2's are the power at the disposal of the crew aboard this eastbound freight departing Wayzata after being briefly stopped for a red signal. Tracks in the foreground are part of the former Dakota Rail interchange. Now used for occasional car storage by the BNSF.
