KCC 773         
Kennecott Copper Corp. 125-ton GE electric 773 on a empty train inside the copper mine. The locomotive was built in November 1955 as KCC 873. The big numbers were a big help for Kennecott employees and visiting railfans!

Jerry Sires General Good framing between all the poles. I stood in that same spot and I believe the pit was deeper since it may have been years later and there was a pool of green water in the bottom. 9/10/2010 1:21:11 AM
