Stored KCS Locomotives in KCS Knoche Yard
14 units that had been in storage were shoved over here by the roundhouse after 10 months of storage. The conductor on the job can be seen tying a handbrake on the 658. He told me KCS might be planning on scrapping and parting these out, or reselling some. Included in the line of engines is KCS 3240, a white ghost SD40-2, and KCS 3200, ex-KCS 637, which was the 1st SD40-2 ever built.
