MP 2965
Solid GE lash-up on this northbound just north of Gorham on what is now UP's Chester sub. Between 1973 and 1978, MP 2965 was MP 1, later MP 3300. Retired by UP 5/85 and traded in to GE. Date of photo approximate.

Became ESCO 10K (Enterprise Coal Co.) after being traded in/rebuilt by GE. Unit sat abandoned under their loadout in Robinson Creek KY for years. I assume it has been scrapped by now. Last pic i saw of it was from 2003 and it looked bad then. http://www.railpictures.net/photo/10364/
