Union Pacific's Operation Lifesaver Special leaves Provo on UP's original "Provo Subdivision''between Provo and Salt Lake City. 951 and train will enter D&RGW (SP) Mainline trackage at Lakota Junction just a few miles from this location. This track has since been ripped out to make way for Utah Transit Authority's ''Frontrunner Project'',Which is scheduled to be completed in 2013. UP trains going in and out of Provo now use the former D&RGW Mainline.
