April 4, 2010: CSXT 758
CSXT ES44AH (ES44AC stencil has been marked over) #758 sits shut down on a siding in Pennington Gap. Notice the tow chain hanging above the rear truck. Anyone know what this is for?

Jimmie Fisher	General	Nope. It is a tow or logging chain, large steel loop on one end, slip hook on the other, just like on my chains. Hanging from hooks on the locomotive, nothing to do with handbrakes. I can send a close-up shot of it.	4/11/2010 6:29:52 PM
