| Delivered to Penn Central as GP38-2 7956 in May 1972, this locomotive entered Conrail wearing the same number trading PC black for Conrail Premier Blue until lease expiration when this Geep was returned to EMD. EMD removed the second digit from the road number and applied GM and EMD decals on the Conrail titles becoming EMDX 756 until sold to GATX where this unit works today as GMTX 2208 in GATX blue and white. Somwhere along the way she aquired a BN Cascade Green handbrake ratchet. |
