LSRC 1280         
This southbound Bluewater Michigan Chapter excursion train heads toward Grayling, Michigan on the Lake State Railway, October 15th, 2005. Engine #1280 is a C425M-AC model. This is a short diesel powered side trip which is part of the "Timberliner" excursion using the Pere Marquette 2-8-4 #1225 steam locomotive. It ran from Kawkawlin to Grayling, MI. Locomotive #1225 is being prepared while waiting for the passenger consist for the trip back to Kawkawlin. This side trip is traveling from Grayling, running a few miles north and return.
