RSSX 616
RSSX 616 SW1 is seen mid-transit at Union Pacific Davidson Yard on a sunny July afternoon. Delivered to Illinois Central as IC 9031 SW1 in August 1951 then retired and sold to Olin Chemical as OLNX 9031 in February 1965, finally ending up on the Railserve roster as RSSX 616. After nearly 60 years of service, this small switcher has kept her front cab window awnings, hood mounted bell and single note horn.
