Joe Atkinson	General	Just the opposite! Business has been great. About this time last year they were retiring a large number of their older Geeps in the 300- and 400-series, as well as their three M420Rs, when they took delivery of 22 ex-LLPX, xx-CR/PC GP38-2s in the 700-series, but a few of the 400s, including GP8s 466 and 481 seen here, were retained. Rumor is that at least 466 may be rebuilt into a slug for use in Council Bluffs. Other 400s still on the property are 400, 403, 468, 485, and 495. IAIS also took delivery of four ex-LLPX SD38-2s in August 2004, two of which have now been repainted into their 150-series, and have four OHCR ex-UP SD40-2s, one of which is seen elsewhere in this album, on a six-month lease (now stored, apparently pending return). The railroad is currently upgrading most of their mainline to 40mph standards.	2/5/2006 7:58:23 AM
