| WILLARD NM Sept 3 1983 -- Santa Fe SD45u 5358 handles a COFC-TOFC train on the Transcon. Santa Fe built the unit in October 1966 as ATSF 1833. It became ATSF 5533 in the 1969-70 general renumbering. It was rebuilt to an SD45u in May 1983 and renumbered to ATSF 5358. It was repainted to SPSF 5358 sometime between July 1985 and July 1986 but was repainted to Santa Fe colors before Jan 1 1991. (Roster information from atsfrr.net) |
