| This concrete whistle post is located between two tracks and used to have the "W" blackened. Just about a half-mile to a mile to the right of this trackage (south), the tracks cross WVa State Route 2. The main track is to the left of this picture. The siding, on the right, has a lot more vegetation growing between the cross-ties. At one time there was an old passenger car or two parked here but that was many years ago. Near Gallipolis Ferry, WV on 8-09-2012. |
