The V indicates is was rebuilt by VMV per this website, although I did not find this unit on there: http://donsdepot.donrossgroup.net/dr1485.htm

2666 is a GP39-3

2666 according to BNSF is a GP39-2R. It usually varies on what the frame states but have seen a photo of 2663 labled as this but the 2666 may be classed minus the "R"
