| LLPX 2292, former Union Pacifid unit, engineer's side view. This engine was parked on a siding near the Union Pacific yard in Junction City, KS, on 5-15-2012. The shadows from the setting sun give some very interesting effects. Notice the air conditioner mounted on the cab roof, the multi-chime horn, the (early?) wire-covered grille near the rear, and the control box (?) on the battery box in front of the cab. |
