CSX 600
The AC60CW that isn't. This was one of three pre-production models on CSX and the original prime-mover has been replaced with the 4400 HP 7FDL16 engine. It still has kept its AC60CW dual-lightning bolt paint, even though it's looking rough at this point.

TERRENCE ROBLE General It looks rough because the long hood lettering was all blue then the center of the long hood was painted over and then added the yellow CSX letters, and the number was redone under the window because it had a single lightning bolt like the 1-599 series and redone, so where the paint was redone it commenced to face badley. I do not know if it operated with the regular YN2 scheme, I seen an official GE photograph with blue lettering and a singlw lightning bolt this was the same foe 601 ans 602 as well, yet they did not fade, they may have been completely painted over other than spot painted like 600. 6/18/2013 8:07:16 PM
Curt Beal General Thanks for the explanation. You'd think they would have tried to do a better quality paint job with the first locomotive of a new model series. 6/19/2013 1:33:17 AM
