NW 2-8-8-2 #2126, Norfolk & Western  Contributor's Pick!       
Another N&W shops product was this 1930 Y6 class "Chesapeake type" locomotive seen here is all its power. It was able to produce an astounding 300 psi boiler pressure! No wonder it could handle the heavy coal trains of the East as well as anything else they would need it to do. No date or location was given for this photo nor the photographer's name.
