JR DE101565MSJ
On a 2009 trip to Japan, I caught this DE10 #1565 switching at Minami Senju. The DE 10 class are 65 ton diesel-hydraulic switchers with an unusual wheel arraingement of 'A-A-A B'. The DE 10 has 1,350 hp, this example was built approximately 1969 by Nippon -Sharyo.. They are ubiqutous across Japan but that may be an end of an era now, as a new type of Hybrid diesel is coming into service.
