CB&Q 2-6-6-2 Class T-2 4101         
Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-6-6-2 Class T-2 4101 at Denver, Colorado on November 25, 1948, photograph by Richard H. Kindig, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 4101 was built by Baldwin in February 1910 (c/n 34231) and dismantled in August 1950. This was one of ten 2-6-6-2's built for the CB&Q in 1910, road numbers 4100-4109. All were built as coal burners, and all but three were converted to burn oil to comply with the U.S. Forest Service requirement that locomotives assigned to the Black Hills, South Dakota Division burn oil.
