BA 2-8-4 #1427 - Boston & Albany  Contributor's Pick!
Somehow the reporting mark "BA"is listed in this site as Baltimore & Annapolis instead of the correct Boston & Albany. Specifics - class A-1b, class A-1b, 63" drivers, 240 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine weight of 389,000 lb, tractive effort of 76,160 lb. The loco was scrapped in 1949.
