Port Jeff surprise  Contributor's Pick!
The MP 15 trailing this eastbound Port Jefferson train was not unusual. The GP 38 was. Must have been a power swap, and the GP was tacked on before the train left Jamaica. Interestingly, the two trailing units are the highest numbered in their respective classes. The 277 is named for LIRR president Walter Schlager.
