NS 155 is coming through the small town of Graniteville, S.C., where 10 years ago, NS 192 ran into a parked NS P22 releasing a chlorine cloud that killed 9 (including the engineer of 192) and permanately closed Avondale Mills.

Scott Harper General That signal is a non-automatic block signal and it doesn't give any type of occupancy. That is what the yellow forked marker indicates. This line is dark territory and this signal is basically an advance indicator for the spring switch at the south end of the siding at Vaucluse. If the switch improperly lined this signal would be yellow and alert the crew to be prepared to stop at the switch. 1/29/2015 6:03:11 PM
