| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-8-2 Class O-1-A 5104 date, location, and photographer unknown, print by Tom Klinger, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 5104 was built by Baldwin in December 1920 (c/n 54173) and sold for scrap in February 1954. According to the CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet dated February 1, 1952, number 5104 was assigned to the Saint Joseph, Missouri Division. It still has the cuckoo style headlight, turret shroud ahead of the cab, and spoked lead truck, so it is dated roughly before any major overhaul sometime in the 1930's maybe?. |
