Coal on the River Line  Contributor's Pick!
The River Line, the ex NYC West Shore, was known during Conrail years as a freight and intermodal conduit. There was some coal traffic on the line, for an Orange-Rockland power plant at Roseton. One of those trains, UAM 4, is rolling though North Bergen behind a set of power only CR would put on a coal train.
