| CN mixed freight crosses Park St. and approaches Water St. as it slows to halt at the former SOO yard at Stevens Point, WI on 22 Aug. '15. It would briefly halt in front of the former SOO depot before disappearing into the yard. The depot was designed in the Prairie School Style by Christian Madsen and erected by his Withee Construction Co. in 1918. Madsen constructed numerous depots for the SOO. Stevens Point was originally known as Shaurette Rapids. |
