Going downtown  Contributor's Pick!
The ex LV in Ithaca has several blocks of street side running. Its limited to 10 MPH, and caused real havoc with traffic, especially at rush hours. This empty train came through just at dusk, tying up town for 15 minutes. In the late 1990s, a new bridge/interchange for NY 79, 89, and 96 was built, crossing the tracks and largely eliminating the problem.
