| The flashing units have been rotated 90 degrees away from the highway traffic where Illinois Highway 4 crosses the former B&O line to St Louis. This view looks west, showing that the flashers are still in place, but the protective arms have been removed from the gates. I took this photo just before 5 pm on 12-21-2015. Sadly, the sun appears to be setting, also, on the future of this line. |
