PRR 2221, EF-22, 1966
Birmingham. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train near Birmingham, Pennsylvania, on 16 April 1966. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #2221, #2201, #2202, and #2200. All are EF-22's built by EMD in 1963 and rated at 2,200 horsepower each. They are pulling a westbound iron ore train. This photo was taken at the stone quarry crossing, just off of State Route 453.
