| WRY. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad Property in East Altoona, Pennsylvania, during October of 1965. Shown here is a south-facing view of the remnants of several structures that supported activities at the PRR's Westbound Receiving Yard. This was once an exceptionally-busy place; virtually all westbound freight trains were serviced here. Now it's just weeds and ghosts. Also visible is the East Altoona Coaling Tipple in the distance. |
