UP 1474 Activates the Wig-Wags at Sheboygan, WI  Contributor's Pick!
UP local activates the Wig-Wag signals and crosses Saemann Ave. as it heads north via a remnant of the former C&NW main line at Sheboygan, WI on 3 Oct. '16. The local was preparing to switch several industries at the north end of town. We were chasing the train northward through heavy afternoon traffic and got far enough ahead of the train to stop here to get a shot or two. This being our first time chasing trains here, we were quite surprised to espy these classic and exceedingly rare crossing signals as we parked and started walking toward the grade crossing.
