Tom Beckett General Cool. Almost all of this west of Binghamton is abandoned; much of the DLW between there and Corning went to NY State, and is now part of the right of way that I 86/NY 17 sits on. You can still see vestiges of the old line in a number of places, and the Vestal(a library), Apalachin(Subway and ice cream shop), and Nichols(restaurant) stations still stand. It's also possible to see remains of the branch from Owego to Ithaca(abandoned 1956, it's not on this map) in places along NY 96 and 96B. NYSW owns the Syracuse and Utica Branches as their Northern Division. 10/27/2020 3:00:46 AM
