Randy Curlin General Well done! Which line was busier? Looks to be a good spot to catch frequent movements. 3/21/2017 5:18:19 AM
Paul Woodring General See previous image for comment on signal with "P"marker. Near track was the PRR/PC "104" or "103" track that split off from the two mains at "Lambert" (Waterloo Rd.) and went to South Arkonn yard (less than a mile behind the photographer). PRR/PC single track continued then from S. Akron Yard to JO interlocking where the Pennsy again shared trackage with the B&O to Akron Jct., where the "Hudson Secondary" separated and ran parallel to the B&O to Cuyahoga Falls and then through Silver Lake and Stow to Hudson. That was the first rail line to reach Akron, about 1854. 3/21/2017 11:26:17 AM
Fred Stuckmann General 104 ran from Bridge 16 to Lambert, 103 ran from Crosier St. to JO. Nice shot. 3/23/2017 6:46:10 AM
Bernie Feltman General Very nice framing Bob 3/23/2017 6:46:45 AM
