Here is page 15 of a 34-page article (in five installments) entitled "Locomotives Of the Pennsylvania." It was published originally in the August 1941 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 54. Partial Caption: "One of the most famous experimental engines ever tested by the Pennsylvania was Number 2512, a de Glehn Compound built in Belford, France, and exhibited at the St. Louis Exposition of 1905." #2512 was built during 1904 and retired in May of 1913. Correction ~> Engine #1361 is actually a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific," not an "E4s." |
