Enjoy your pictures, it brings back a lot of memories, I'm one of only two NYC Conductors still alive who worked this Line. I switch around Shelbyville for several hours back in the early 60's when Oliver was still running. We delivered cars to the C&EI in these interchange tracks and the House track next to the Freight House on the left just out of the picture. We came through Shelbyville at 70 MPH on the Flexivan but had a 45 MPH slow order on Thornton Curve east of town. It's sad to see how it looks now, all the old Railroaders are all gone including my Dad who worked the Local that switched Shelbyville everday enroute to Pana and Hillsboro.
