| Covered hoppers set on a siding behind the Kohl Center on Wisconsin and Southern's line through Madison which extends to Prairies du Chien. This was part of the first line across the state connecting Milwaukee with the Mississippi River. The line here now runs through the University of Wisconsin campus, and is fairly active. The activity is not close to what it was historically, but it should be in use for the foreseeable future. |
