| CN units take the southeast leg of the wye at Nekoosa Junction in Port Edwards. The crew will is setting up to make a shove into the tracks at the closed Nekoosa Edwards Paper Company, which was closed by then owner Domtar Paper in 2008. The railroad still makes use of the rail infrastructure of the mills 192 acre site. There may be some businesses located on the DMI owned property, however much of the redevelopment has come to a standstill in late 2017 as the company hired to raze the buildings DMI Acquisitions wanted demolished had left the property and the job unfinished. |
