PRR 869, H-9S, c. 1948         
Here is an original photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #869, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an H-8B during 1911, rebuilt in Juniata as an H-9S in December of 1923, and retired in April of 1949 after 26 years of faithful service. The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded. Roy Healey Collection; #3 of 16.
