Built by Pullman in November 1926 in Lot #4998 as the Plan #3521A 10 section sleeper-lounge observation MT. PEALE which was sold in July 1948 to the Chicago & Eastern Illinois. The C&EI rebuilt it at that time as their business car #354. After the C&EI was bought out by the MP and L&N, the car was resold into private ownership as the PPCX #800147 and named JO-VI-LA
