Really sharp looking Alco-Richmond 2-8-2 Mikado built in August of 1924 for the Chesapeake & Ohio stands in the Hoosier city of Peru, IN, on this Aiugist day in 1950. The shine on the engine cowl and the glistening white walls gives the appearance of a nuch earlier date.
