CO 2-8-2 #2314 - Chesapeake & Ohio         
Beautiful sepia colored original photoby Boyce F. Martin of Chesapeake & Ohio 2-8-2 Mikado #2314 built by Alco-Richmond in January of 1926. A note on the back of the photo states "Waiting at end of Lexinton-HR Tower (Anchorage, KY) for main line of L&N-Louisville Cincinnati to clear. About 1950." Specs - serial #66481, class K-3a, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, tractive effort of 67,698 lb. The class was scrapped in the early 1950's
