| A CN through freight parallels Union St. and passes the former Adams St. grade crossing as it shoves a string of cars into the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 30 Jun. '19. The Winneconne Ave. overpass can be seen in the background. The area between the tracks and Union St., from Main St. to Monroe St. used to be the yard. I don't know when the current yard was built, but a map from 1909 shows the yard here. Adams St. was originally Washington St., until at least 1913. |
