| ARB. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by David R. Sweetland that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in May of 1963. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5715 and three more "EP" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #5715 was constructed in November of 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. In this context, this A-B-B-A set is about to pass under the 8th Street Bridge in Juniata with a mail and express train bound for Pittsburgh. |
