Ron Moraca General Well, Alex, it looks like 3 Geeps are pulling this, I assume, fully loaded double-stack. Wouldn't a couple of GEVO's or C40-8's have done the job better? 7/5/2008 2:32:00 AM
Alex Simins General Are you serious??? A GEVO??? Look at the date of the photo, CN did not even own a GE unit when this shot was taken, and that was a good thing!!! GE units suck ass!!! 7/5/2008 3:48:34 AM
Doug Little General great action shot - begs the question: when did CN start taking double-stacks? 7/23/2008 9:01:12 PM
Alex Simins General Since it was 19 years ago that this was taken, and my note taking is as good now as it was then ( I will get a pen & paper one day). This was one of the first stack trains on the CN. 7/24/2008 2:07:23 PM
Jim Gavin General Nice shot Alex. And I agree. GE's suck. 12/14/2008 2:57:56 PM
David Nutter General Great shot! 3/29/2009 2:41:30 PM
Wyatt M General Nice pic. EMD's are more reliable than GE's because GE's blow up and catch fire too easily. 7/10/2009 7:01:56 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Nice shot 10/7/2009 3:19:14 PM
Dennis Andariese General I always like taking my camera with me all around the Great Lakes too. Nice shot. 2/3/2013 4:25:06 PM
Tom Beckett General This was common road power for pig trains at the time. Stacks had already been running in the US for about five years at the time of the photo, but had not really taken hold in Canada yet, so this would have been one of the first. Good catch on a historical move. 1/24/2016 2:06:39 AM
