Volkmer. Here is an image of a photo (converted to B&W) by William D. Volkmer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 18 April 1959. Parked in the Erecting & Machine Shop storage yard is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5891, an EP-22 built by GM-EMD in April of 1950 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. To its immediate left is Baldwin-built "Centipede" #5821. In the foreground is PRR gondola #244227. William E. Burket Collection.
