ACN "Mogul," #1 of 2, c. 1915
ACN. Here is the first of two successive images of photos by an unidentified photographer that were taken near Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1911. Prominent here is one of the "Mogul" (2-6-0) steam locomotives belonging to the narrow-gauge Altoona, Clearfield, & Northern Railroad ~ the "Wopsy Railroad." In this context, it's pushing a single open-air passenger car on a typical excursion run. The names of the well-dressed gentleman and his dog are not recorded. William E. Burket Collection.
