| Strung up with Christmas lights and parked under the post flag pole in Seay Plaza, 4635 is on display for the Holidays. Built in 1954 as a GP-9 it was rebuilt to a GP-16 in 1979 by the SCL and was re-conditioned by Conrail at Juniata Locomotive Shops in 1993, then sent to the Fort Eustis Military Railway. The flag is at half mast to honor the death of President Ford, who died the night before. |
