| This loco was the second to last 2-8-2 built for the Rock Island Line. Alco-Schenectady delivered CRIP 2-8-2 #2699 in April of 1927. Specs - 63" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine wt of 355,600 lb and tractive effort of 68,227 lb. With an added booster, the te increased by 11,244 lb.
