LI 1560         
The Greenport "scoot," made up of RS3 1560 and a single "ping pong" coach, has just arrived at Ronkonkoma and discharged its passengers, who will shortly board an FA-led push pull set for the rest of their trip west to Jamaica. Today, Ronkonkoma has a multi-track station with high level platforms and is served by electric MU trains. Date approximate.

tommy meehan General Thanks to Mike I discovered the P-54 coaches ("the ping pongs') were built with MU-style windshields or portholes, in anticipation of an eventual conversion to MU cars (which never happened). 1/23/2013 9:10:54 PM
