An little known history of this car, started out life as an Coach, that was part of an 70 Car Order that was constructed by the Pullman Standard Car Company for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway in 1950, after the order was complete, about 10 of the Coaches were sold to the DRG&W, and one car was rebuilt by the Rio Grande into Office Car #100, the "Wilson McCarthey", and later on was renamed into the "Kansas" after the so called merger with the Southern Pacific in the Late 1980's
