Tim Huemmer General So that's where that unit went, it was in Spartanburg, SC about a month ago 12/7/2004 7:55:13 AM
william davis General Yes Tim that's where the CSXT ( Former C&O ) SD40 4617 ended up. This unit was assigned to Cumberland, Md. for many years before it started roaming the CSXT System, which is nice to see. CSXT 4601 is another SD40 to be on the lookout for, because it is the last Seaboard System SD40 left 12/8/2004 8:27:34 AM
Virgil Fitzpatrick General Hey William, I got a photo of Seaboard System 2640 back in 2001. Now it's just the 2667 in FULL Seaboard Paint that I've seen. Haven't seen the 4601 though. Just a Heads up. AND I hear theres a Remote Unit in Chessie Paint in the Toledo/Stanley yard 12/10/2004 6:29:37 AM
Ron Moraca General Superb photo, William!!!!!! This unit has recently been repainted into YN3 livery, and if it isn't the last true SD40 on the active roster of CSX, then it's close, as others have recently been retired. 8/21/2009 5:51:09 PM
Railfan 1981 General Nice shot & catch!! 12/15/2014 8:47:28 PM
